(NASDAQ: FFWM), a financial services company with two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and First Foundation Bank, announced today they have appointed Daniel Fan as Director of Wealth Planning. In his new role, Fan will oversee the firm’s Wealth Planning department and advise clients on sophisticated wealth strategies. He will work closely with First Foundation’s financial advisors to optimize existing clients’ wealth plans and develop new relationships by helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Fan brings more than 15 years of experience in financial planning to his position, and has maintained a focus on delivering a personalized experience. Prior to joining First Foundation, he was Senior Vice President, Director of Wealth Planning and Insurance at First Bank Wealth Management, and previously was Vice President, Regional Director at Union Bank Private Wealth Planning. He is a Certified Financial Planner and holds his Juris Doctorate and Master’s in taxation from Pepperdine University School of Law and Golden Gate University, respectively.
